🚀 MAKE IT REAL! Hackathon: Everything you need to know
What is the “MAKE IT REAL!” Hackathon?
It is an international 48-hour event for young people focused on action: going from identifying a problem and building a prototype to real-world testing and aiming for your first financial transaction during the event.

Who can participate?
We welcome all young people under the age of 29 who want hands-on experience in building, talking to people, iterating based on real feedback, and taking the first steps toward selling a solution.

When and where will the hackathon take place?
The event will take place from May 14th to 16th in Vilnius, Lithuania.
‍
What is the language of the event?
Since this is an international event with participants from Lithuania, Ukraine, and the Nordics, the primary language is English.

What is the registration deadline?
Registration ends on March 20th.

What problems will the teams solve during the hackathon?
Participants will build around four future resilience tracks:
- Economic resilience and innovation.
- Community well-being and health.
- Climate and environmental resilience.
- Digital security and cyber resilience.

What tools will be used in the creative process?
Teams are encouraged to use AI and digital tools to prototype fast and validate their ideas quickly.

Do the organizers take care of the participants' well-being?
Yes, the following is covered for participants:
- Accommodation for the event days.
- Meals to keep you focused on building.
- Travel costs covered for international participants.

What is the philosophy of the hackathon?
The event follows the mindset: “Better real than perfect,” focusing on creating solutions that actually work in the real world.
